Carlos Schrock
Created for a reason. Building a life that honors that calling through faith, family, and the daily decision to trust the One who designed it all.
Built for a Reason
Everything starts here. Not with a plan or a strategy, but with a conviction that I was created on purpose, for a purpose.
What I Believe
First, I am a Christian. That is the foundation that everything else is built on. I believe God created each of us with intention, and that He’s more than willing to help us become everything He designed us to be.
But that requires something from us: surrender. A decision of faith. Making Him Lord of our lives and actually meaning it. Living in His will and depending on Him for everything is more important to me than anything I could come up with on my own.
What That Looks Like
- Depending on God for everything; provision, direction, purpose
- Willing to give up my own plans to pursue His
- Building with purpose, not just ambition
- Living it openly, not ashamed of who I follow
- Playing the long game means finishing well matters more than anything else
Raising the Next Generation
The life I’m building isn’t just for me. It’s the example my children will grow up watching.
What I Want My Kids to Know
You don’t need to look to other people for permission or direction. You were created for a reason, and the God who made you wants to walk with you in becoming everything He designed you to be.
My job as their father is to live that out first. To show them what it looks like to trust God, to work with integrity, to live on your own terms under His authority, and to not be ashamed of any of it.
I want my family to look back one day and know that we didn’t just drift through life. We built something intentional. We honored God with how we lived. And we finished well.
How I’m Wired
I’ve learned what kind of work brings out my best and I’ve gotten honest about what doesn’t. That honesty is part of the stewardship.
Where I Add Value
- Relationship-driven selling
- Focused, clearly defined roles
- Structured environments with clean handoffs
- Building trust over time
- Staying consistent when it counts
The Approach
I think in phases. Stabilize first, build second, and let things compound over time. The goal isn’t to hustle harder. It’s to build something sustainable that gives me the freedom to be present for what matters most.
Work is a tool, not the destination. Living in His will and depending on Him for everything matters more than any plan I could put together on my own.
What I Hold Onto
The things I come back to when the noise gets loud.
Faith Over Fear
Trusting God is a daily decision, not a feeling. I choose to depend on Him for everything — even when letting go of my own plans is the hardest part.
His Will Over My Plans
I’d rather say no to an opportunity if God isn’t in it. I’d rather give up my own dreams and pursue what He has for me — His plans are better than anything I could come up with.
Discipline Over Flash
Keep it simple. Boring consistency beats exciting inconsistency. Build the foundation before you decorate the house.
Finish Well
It’s not about how you start. I want to look back at the end and know I honored God, raised my family right, and didn’t cut corners on the things that mattered.
